Who I am:
As a child, I was the middle of five girls with an abusive alcoholic father. Life was always hectic, and anger/rage was the status quo. It wasn’t until after college where I started to self-reflect on what relationships were, how they felt, and more importantly – why they didn’t last.
There was one common denominator – me. So that’s where my hyper-focus on mental wellbeing and emotional regulation started.
Health & wellbeing has always been at the core of who I am. I managed corporate fitness centers for ~10-years; Kraft Heinz, Astellas Pharma, and Motorola Solutions. All to find out that most employees feel underappreciated, misunderstood, and resentful. Yet the primary focus to fix it all was going to the gym to ‘run’ it off or ‘work it out’ which never showed success due to the level of disconnect within the activity.
As a self-motivated, highly-driven, analytical, empathic, introvert – it pains me to see people feeling defeated. Whether it’s about weight loss, lacking confidence for a job promotion, or even courage to navigate through conflict and create intimacy.
There is a major deficit in today’s world when it comes to a sense of belonging and what it feels like to be satisfied/fulfilled. The way we change/upgrade that is by enhancing our emotional intelligence.

Coach vs Therapist
Coach: a professional who obtains certifications through an accredited program like International Coaching Federation, no degree requirements, clarifies goals and identifies obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results. The process of life coaching takes the client’s current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground and is more action based from that point forward. A life coach enables the person receiving treatment to take control of their life and take action to steer it towards their goals. The focus is on the present with outcomes that bring them success and fulfillment, in any and all areas of life.
Therapist: a professional classified as a psychologist or counselor, have varying master’s and doctorate degrees and are licensed by their state. A therapist diagnoses and resolves problematic beliefs, behaviors, relationship issues, feeling and sometime physical response. The idea behind therapy is to focus on past traumas and issues to change self-destructive habits, repair and improve relationships and work through painful feelings. The focus is on the past with the hope of resolving past issues and creating a happier, more stable future.
